RND is a new experimental laptop and digital punch project of this artist. He started making music in 1999 and composed and released two albums as ODYSSEY (one album in co-operation with Polish duo REMOTE SPACES) which contained classic electronic and ambient music. In 2004, with his "EXPERIMENT.@ll" project, RND explored different levels of an electroacoustic and experimental music. As he said: "You can make music by using everything, every noise or sound. Artists from all over the world were invited to work on the remixes. It took a while, but finally many superb musicians joined the project. The starting material for the remix was a composition "dark sky: saturday, monday" from eta carinae's first album. Having diverse approach to music and composition, artists created excellent, varied in style tracks. From a dark ambient track by Andrew Duke (Canada, www.cognitionaudioworks.com), trough Far East soundscapes painted by well-known artist Pei (Taiwan, www.post-concrete.com), to quiet, predictable, but how delicate ambient composition by human error (Poland). "That number will rise" opens the second part, filled with shorter tracks, often based on the samples taken from field-recording sessions. This reissue of "::3::" includes three bonus tracks. Two of them are remixes made by Jarek Grzesica and his SEED Project. These remixes are separated by the concert version of "The number will rise" track, recorded during 'Future Sessions' in BIS Polskie Radio on October 23rd, 2005. Music here is a bit different from the experimental and new electronic music trends. The artistic concept was to combine two worlds: soundscapes using new sounds with more accessible ambient forms, and sometimes even 'classic', Berlin School electronic music. Music on this album is composed towards the audience, who just started discovering the mysterious world of new sounds and wants to enter its secret circle in very fluent and subtle way. Although it is not a concept album, its tracks were inspired by popular scientific literature. Therefore, many compositions have music roots in a period prior to the first eta carinae's album. Guest musician Bartek Maciaszek played turntables on the second track. The concert itself was a part of Warsaw Electronic Festival 2005. The structure of live performance by chmury was built around the tracks from its debut album. Piotr Broniatowski and Grzegorz Bojanek played the set without any rehearsals. Instead of strict following the original songs, their live set relied heavily on improvisations and strong interaction between two artists. Therefore, the performance includes typical "laptop jam' elements, which fit perfectly into their live composition. The concert was very well received by the festival audience.
